Yesterday I saw it. I saw the Christmas elephant.
I've always wanted to teach my kids something completely random. And I could because the fun thing about having kids is that I could teach them anything and they wouldn't know the difference. That is until their peers corrected them or they saw something on TV.
I've especially wanted to make a mess of the cultural holiday icons. You know, like replace Santa with the Christmas elephant or teach them about the Easter turtle. Living in China, I would have a distinct advantage that would buy me some time before my kids learned the truth.
Then again, judging by the photo, China may make a mess of the holiday icons without any help from me.
