Little Sister Graduates

If becoming expectant parents didn’t make us feel that much older, maybe this will. K’Lann, M’Lynn younger sister, graduated from Garden City High School on May 18, 2007. After spending the summer at home, she plans to follow in her sisters’ footsteps and attend Texas Tech University majoring in interior design.

M’Lynn and I we in town for the celebration with almost all of the extended family also in town. With so many family members in town and two celebrations, we were had a great time.

Third Trip to Austin

M’Lynn and I traveled to Austin to watch K’Lann, participate at the state track meet. She placed fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 36’ 0.5” matching her personal best and only six inches from first place. She turned in quite a performance.

Austin is beginning to become familiar to us as we have traveled there three times since March. We were able to visit Jamie, Jeremy’s sister, who took us shopping to IKEA and REI. While shopping we picked up our first item for The Baby, a changing table.

Baby Update

We are encouraged by the continued health of The Baby at our second doctor’s appointment. By the first week of July we should know if The Baby is a boy or a girl. We are really looking forward to that announcement.

The possible names for the baby have been narrowed down to one boy name and two girl names. Not to worry though, we will have it decided by the time the baby is born. Until then, the names remain a secret.

Through word of mouth and abundant blessings from our heavenly father, we have received a baby crib, FOR FREE! A daughter of M’Lynn’s coworker had a crib to give away. Even more amazing is the fact that the daughter lives in our apartment complex. All we had to do was walk over and carry the crib to our apartment.

Fill Our Think Tank

We would love to be able to lift up any specific trials, situations, and/or joys you may have. The power of prayer can never be underestimated and He is always faithful to answer. Simply email us with your requests and we will fill our think tank and join with you lifting them up to our Father.

Midland, TX, Really?

Our Father works in mysterious ways giving forethought to every place we live and each position we hold. His plans led us from Lubbock to China to Midland. We originally planned to return from China to Lubbock, where we had a house and dog, but our plans were directed to Midland. M’Lynn was offered a great job as a staff accountant in the corporate offices of WarrenCAT, the official Caterpillar dealership for West Texas and Oklahoma.

Summer Calendar

Our summer calendar continues to get filled with visits to and from family plus all the exciting new release movies. Since the TV season is over, at least Grey’s Anatomy season 3 is over, we have decided to catch most of the new movies this summer. We have seen Pirates 3 and Spider Man 3, and we have plans to see many of the other summer hits, Ratatouille, Live Free or Die Hard, Shrek the Third, The Bourne Ultimatum, Rush Hour 3, plus any rental movies.

Additional plans include seeing family, a visit from Christopher, Jeremy’s brother, a mini escape to Lubbock, and possibly a babymoon and a fourth trip to Austin. All of these are among other entertainment of Double A baseball and local theater productions. We hope your summer is exciting and full of adventure.
