Holiday Weekend Photos

April began with a crazy weekend.

Friday: We readied our heart and minds for Easter by watching The Passion of the Christ with our teammates.

Saturday: We were substitute teachers for a Life Education class in the morning before dying Easter eggs with students Saturday afternoon.

Sunday: We hunted around the apartments for the hidden Easter eggs. Kanyon found his share of goodies and even found some he'll be sharing with his parents. I didn't even mention the NCAA Final Four we were able to watch early Sunday morning on the internet!

Monday: We celebrated my 30th birthday hosting friends from around the city to our apartment for a Tex-Mex taco feast and party.

Tuesday: We were back at teaching in the classroom and eating lunch with students.

When we lived in the States, we always found Spring to be the busiest season of the year. We'd be chasing basketball games, track meets, holiday family gatherings, and the likes. And now we have the same awesome craziness in China. If we could only get the weather to cooperate, we'd put the big coats away and head outside. Maybe in May!
